Global Agency has confirmed the first international adaptation of its brand-new music competition format The Greatest Duo set to premiere in Italy in March 2027. Created by Global Agency founder and CEO Izzet Pinto, the show made its official world premiere this week in Cannes with the distributor eyeing the US as the next potential territory, as the CEO told ttvnews.

Produced with executive input from Pinto himself, the format blends a singing competition with deep personal relations. Singing duos will be evaluated individually, forcing the contestants to choose between loyalty to their partner and switching to a stronger singer to avoid elimination.

In other news, Global Agency announced a new achievement in the international journey of Gulperi, the acclaimed Turkish drama produced by TIMSBI Productions. Its Portuguese adaptation, Vitória, has won the Venice TV Award 2026 in the Soap/Telenovela category.

The success was celebrated at MIPCOM, where representatives of TIMSBI Productions, SIC and Global Agency came together to mark the international recognition of the adaptation.

Originally produced by TIMSBI Productions, Gulperi was internationally distributed by
Global Agency, which licensed the scripted format rights for the Portuguese adaptation.
