TVF International signs CEE deals #NATPE
 19 Jun 2017
Polsat in Poland and TV2 in Hungary are among CEE channels which have acquired factual content from UK distributor TVF International ahead of NATPE Budapest this week.

Polsat has bought Supershoppers, a consumer advice series which is now on its third season on Channel 4 in the UK, and TVNZ’s blue-light series Street Hospital 2.

TV2 acquired Ultimate Braai Master, the long-running barbecue competition series that airs on South Africa’s e.tv.

In Greece Mega Channel picked up the latest installments of Innovation Nation, CBS’s pop science series, now in its sixth season.

Mega’s 80-plus hour package also included luxury travel series Luxe Asia and fishing series Monster Carp and The Big Fish Off from ITV4.

All deals were brokered by TVF’s senior sales executive Lindsey Ayotte, who will be attending Natpe Budapest next week with a slate of shows that includes BBC1’s latest David Attenborough-fronted doc Jumbo: The Life of an Elephant Superstar (1×60’).

Also available are CNBC’s hit business competition series Pop Up Start Up (6×50’), which sees two contestants compete to manufacture and sell their original products in pop-up stores and win investment for their business, and new health documentary The Checklist Effect (1×44’), based on Atul Gawande’s bestselling book.

The slate also includes John Torode’s Asia, following the MasterChef presenter as he cooks up traditional dishes on location across Asia, and the new British royal history series At Her Majesty’s Service from Channel 4.
