CEEGraffiti Studio launches Localization4Trees
Bulgarian localization company Graffiti Studio has launched Localization4Trees, a long-term sustainability initiative that connects media localization with environmental impact.
Under the program, Graffiti Studio will plant one tree for every 10 hours of content localized. The initiative will be carried out annually, with tree planting taking place each spring. The first planting event took place in the spring of 2026, when members of the Graffiti Studio team planted the first 400 trees outside Sofia, Bulgaria. "For more than 30 years, our mission has been to help stories cross language and cultural barriers and reach new audiences. Localization4Trees is a natural extension of that idea. We wanted to create something that grows alongside the stories we help bring to people across the region," said Nick Ivanov, CEO of Graffiti Studio. The initiative is designed as a partnership effort. Every project entrusted to Graffiti Studio contributes directly to the program, making clients and partners part of the forest's growth. Localization4Trees reflects the company's long-standing values of growth, empathy, and responsibility toward the communities and environment in which it operates. As the number of localized hours grows each year, so will the number of trees planted, creating a lasting connection between global storytelling and local environmental action. Through Localization4Trees, Graffiti Studio aims to demonstrate that meaningful business growth and positive environmental impact can go hand in hand. RELATED
