Autentic unveils new factual summer lineup at NEM Dubrovnik
 08 Jun 2026
Autentic presents its Summer Releases 2026 at NEM Dubrovnik, featuring a high-quality line-up across current affairs, history, blue-chip wildlife and travel.

The current affairs slate explores urgent global issues, from Under Pressure – Trump’s Fractured America (52’, Tob Film), a compelling portrait of a deeply divided United States under Trump’s renewed presidency, to Digital Aliens – Excluded in a Connected World (52’, Hoferichter & Jacobs), which explores how digitalisation is driving new forms of inequality.

Adding a lighter tone to the slate, Bargain Dealers (9 × 52’, GiUMa Produzioni) takes viewers into a bustling Italian vintage market where every object comes with its own story and a price.

In the History genre, Autentic presents a selection of powerful documentaries ranging from the ancient world to modern history. Ancient Pompeii – The Secrets of Villa Oplontis (2 × 45’, Go Button Media with Autentic) uncovers one of the most luxurious villas of the Roman Empire. Auschwitz-Birkenau: The Forgotten Revolt (52’, 90’, Digital Images) sheds light on a remarkable act of resistance inside the concentration camp. The Apple Story – Selling the Revolution (52’, Spiegel TV) charts the rise of a company that transformed technology, culture and everyday life.

Autentic also strengthens its premium blue-chip wildlife line-up, offering a range of visually striking new titles. Four brand-new titles from Terra Mater Studios include India – Monsoon Kingdom (2 × 52’, Terra Mater Studios & Dandy Lion Films), exploring the deep connections between India’s diverse landscapes and wildlife; Wild Boreal (52’, Terra Mater Studios & Story Surge Films), a powerful portrait of life in the vast northern forests, Christmas in the Alps (52’, Terra Mater Studios) and Mallorca – Beyond the Beaches (52’, Terra Mater Studios). The Archipelago (2 × 52’, Boréales) takes audiences to remote island ecosystems shaped by powerful geological forces, while The Hidden World of Dolphins (52’, Marquardt Medienproduktion) reveals remarkable marine behaviour.

In People & Places, Suriname: The Green Heart of South America (2 × 52’, Brandmedia Film) explores one of the world’s least-known rainforest regions. The second season of Through Snow & Ice: Swiss Alpine Rail Journeys (4 × 52’, Mediafisch) returns with spectacular winter landscapes in the Alps.

The slate is further complemented by the Science & Technology series Milestones of the Solar System (6 × 52’, Go Button Media for Autentic), first announced at the London TV Screenings this February, which traces the dramatic events that shaped our planetary system, combining cutting-edge science with cinematic storytelling.
