CEEBCE expands to Hungary with new subsidiary
Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE) announces the opening of a new subsidiary in Budapest, Hungary, which will be effective January 2026, as it has claimed in a statement.
The new subsidiary aims to strengthen BCE’s Broadcast Managed Services by adding a dedicated operational team close to customer operations. Based in Budapest, the team will support RTL Hungary with playout and ingest operations, looking forward to contributing to day-to-day broadcast continuity, operational monitoring, and coordination with BCE’s wider broadcast services. The BCE Hungary subsidiary will initially focus on broadcast operations, with a progressive expansion of BCE’s portfolio of activities across the region. This new office joins its other spaces, including headquarters in Luxembourg (RTL City) and subsidiaries in France (Paris), Germany (Munich) and Belgium (Namur), and activities in the United Kingdom (London). “The opening of our Hungarian subsidiary reflects BCE’s strategy to strengthen its operational footprint in Europe and support the expansion of our broadcast services across the region”, explains Christophe Goossens, CEO of Broadcasting Center Europe. “This expansion supports the evolution of our Media operating model, enabling us to extend our services to existing clients and support future developments in the CEE and DACH region within our Media Managed Services framework”, adds Frédéric Fiévez, COO of Broadcasting Center Europe.
