A TV tower in central Chernihiv has been damaged as a result of a Russian strike. Residents are being asked to stay away from the structure while repair works are carried out.

"As a result of a Russian strike on a TV tower (carried out on October 29) in central Chernihiv, the structure sustained damage.

To prevent possible emergencies and ensure residents' safety, works to stabilize the structure will be carried out in the near future," the city administration warned.

Chernihiv residents have been urged not to approach the TV tower and to keep a distance of at least 200 meters from it.
