CEESuspilne journalist stabbed with knife, suspects Russian agents
Journalist Yurii Makarov believes the April 16 attack on him may be linked to Russian intelligence services.
He said this in a comment to TSN, as reported by Censor.NET. According to Makarov, while the attack may have been an attempted robbery, he leans toward the version of a planned assault: "I was already on the so-called kill list together with Arkadii Babchenko and Yevhenii Kiselov. There were about twenty people on it, and it was no joke. Vitalii Portnikov... In that case, this may be yet another special operation aimed at lowering our morale," the journalist said. The attack took place late in the evening in the courtyard of a residential complex, the closed territory of which can only be accessed with an electronic pass. The attacker unexpectedly attacked Makarov with a knife - the journalist tried to defend himself, but was stabbed in the stomach. He did not have time to see the attacker's face. RELATED
