CEEAJB DOC Film Festival announces Mobile Documentary Film training
Between September 11 and 15, the Al Jazeera Balkans Documentary Film Festival (AJB DOC) in cooperation with the Al Jazeera Media Institute based in Doha will hold a special training on Mobile Documentary Film Production and has invited all interested young authors from the region to apply, klix.ba informs.
Students from academies of performing arts and film, producers, journalists and creators can all apply for the training, which will be hosted by the Tunisian journalist, TV producer and long-term associate of the Al Jazeera Media Institute Adnen Chaouachi. The 3-day training course will be held online via the Zoom app with a limited number of direct participants and an additional number of viewers. All selected participants will be awarded certificates for participation in the Al Jazeera Media Institute and will have one month from the end of the course to develop their own idea for filming a documentary via a mobile phone. At the end of this period, the training manager and representatives of the Organizer will select the best idea for realization and award a cash prize of 1500 euros, Samsung Note 20 Ultra mobile phone and will provide mentoring support throughout the recording process. The recorded documentary will also be shown at the upcoming edition of the AJB DOC Film Festival. RELATED
